(1 min read) Just a quick note: My ongoing Gothic architecture series now has its own dedicated Substack — The Gothic World.
There’s no need to do anything. I’ll still be cross-posting most Gothic content, including the top fifty countdown, here. But I will occasionally be digging deeper into Gothic with additional posts too specialized to be included here.
So if you want to see all the Gothic you possibly can from me, go to The Gothic World and subscribe to it as well. (You may occasionally receive two emails from me if you do. Apologies in advance, but there’s no good workaround.)
On the other hand, if you’re not especially interested in the world’s museums or my more general historical essays — if Gothic is all you are here for — you might prefer to subscribe only to The Gothic World and leave Both/And behind. If so, no hard feelings.
Thanks for reading, either way — I truly do appreciate having an audience with which to share my love for Gothic architecture and to pass along images and insights from years spent wandering museums and historical places.
A new museum post is coming on Monday to complement today’s feature on Santa Maria del Mar, and #35 in the countodown will be in your inbox next Saturday.
